Election Commission

For smooth and fair conduction of Mankachar College students’ union election, Mankachar College Election Committee was formed on 01.09. 2004. All the works pertaining to the students election e.g. notification of election schedule, preparation of voters lists and booths, appointment of election personnel, polling and counting of votes and finally declaration of election results and administration of oath to the newly elected secretaries etc. fall within the purview of election committee, Mankachar College.

Composition of the Committee:

Before the commencement of Students’ Union Election, the Election committee is constituted in a general meeting of the teachers as follows-

Returning officer- The Principal of the College

Assistant Returning officer- Vice- Principal or one Senior member of the committee

Member- Two teacher members.
