Admission Policy

The Mankachar College conducts admissions for HS (Arts) and UG programmes every year in a well-structured and transparent manner, following the reservation norms and other guidelines of the Govt. of Assam and the affiliating university. Admission is open for all eligible candidates from anywhere in India. The detail process of admission is as given below.

Application for Admission:

Applications for admissions are to be submitted online application facility in the Mankachar college website (http://mankacharcollege.in). Applicants are required to create the UNIQUE ID from DHE Portal, which is mandatory for all to take admission in the College. Applications for admission are to be submitted through online mode only within the dates mentioned in the admission notification. Every applicant is required to provide valid information and required to upload all relevant documents in JPEG/PDF format at the time of online application.

The college usually opens some help line numbers to meet the queries of the students seeking admission. The help line numbers are displayed on the admission portal of the college when the admission window opens on the college website.

Selection Procedure:

The selection process is based on Merit and reservation. The college follows the reservation rules of the Govt. of Assam and Govt. of India for admission of students from reserved category. The selection list is displayed on the college website.

Admission:

Applicants who are provisionally selected, need to be appeared for documents verification. They have to appear for the admission with all the relevant documents, photographs, etc. Admission may be denied to those students who are found to have provided wrong and incomplete information in the online application form. The documents verification is conducted by a team of faculty members appointed by the Admission Committee/Principal. After documents verification, admission is offered to the eligible applicants.
