I strongly feel that education is a blend of academic excellence and creativity and as the Principal of the college, my motto is to encourage and empower our students to grow as a strong, reflective and humble individuals with discerning minds, prepared to make a mark in all spheres of life. Effective teaching about involving students not only in their learning journey, it is also about taking to them about their well-being encouraging them and helping them to develop their skills simultaneously. Value oriented process is crucial for a college’s all round developments. Social and emotional intelligence of a child plays a very significant role in their healthy growth.

Along with the association of the experienced educators, the Principal always strives to maintain the legacy of the college by building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. Mankachar College provides under graduates education both in humanities and science streams besides running Higher Secondary classes. Our campus stands poised to embrace the evolution of modern education. Equipped with state-of-the-art amenities such as a Computer Study Centre, a Gym, a Digital Library, Smart Classroom and Study Centres of Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU) & Gauhati University Centre for Distance and Online Education (GUCDOE), NSS Unit, NCC (Army wing) Unit and Scout & Guides. These are some facilities and provisions that the college provides its students.
