Education as a subject was introduced in Mankachar College in the year 2013. The Department of Education is yet not provincialised. Currently the department comprises of 3 faculty members and offers two years HS and three years BA Regular (General/Pass) courses.

The Department of Education emphasises on the holistic development, inclusive and dialogical pedagogy for an enriching teaching-learning experience. The department enjoys a cordial and collaborative academic and cultural life. Students are encouraged to participate in activities inside and outside the college and teachers also try to identify student’s problem and solve it. The department also regularly collaborates with other department of the college for academic exchanges.
